Cutting edge Low Latency C++ Software Engineer FX Trading

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global financial organisation that design, development and distribute bleeding edge ultra-low latency, high frequency FX trading platforms. They handle market connectivity for nearly 100 different venues in FX worldwide.

They are looking to build out the first team of C++ Engineers in London using a very collaborative approach to development and giving people that come on board a huge influence on the new their development process.

Open to permanent and contract.

Key requirements:

• Object-Oriented software development experience
• 3+ of recent experience using C++ and STL in a Linux environment
• Knowledge of operating systems and networking protocols (e.g. TCP,UDP, and multicast)
• Experience with concurrent programming (e.g. multi-threaded, reactor, etc.)
• Knowledge of FX and similar financial products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience or knowledge around Low Latency
• Nice to have expertise using Python
