Software Quality Engineer for Indoor Navigation (f/m)

You will work on:
- Creating and developing state of the art software testing methodologies and processes which lay the ground for NavVis’ test architecture
- Planning, designing, specification and development of test strategies, test dashboards and reports
- Writing automation tests and supporting the development team in high-quality tests implementation
- Validating reported bugs systematically, performing data analysis and interpretation of test results
- Prioritizing, debugging and monitoring bugs to speed up the process in the middle of an energetic and fast-paced product development team
- Understanding how your product is interacting with 3rd party systems across teams and provide the right test coverage
- Helping to make sure that every deployment goes out on time with high quality level
You have:
- A background in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or related areas
- At least 2 years’ experience with quality assurance processes (test case planning, feature ownership, bug reporting, issue tracking, regression and isolation)
- Knowledge in test automation using script languages (e.g. Python)
- Good working knowledge of operating systems: Linux, Mac OS, iOS and Android platforms
You are:
- Familiar with Continuous Integration and software build processes
- Creative thinker and a strong problem solver
- Passionate about identifying weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems with an interest in agile methodologies
- Organized and able to meet timeline requirements
- A great communicator and team player
- Fluent in English
We will be thrilled if you have:
- Sound knowledge of integration testing and test automation of mobile and/or web applications
- C++, Java or Swift knowledge
